Carol is a native of Illinois and began painting at an early age. Always being a creative person she now enjoys mostly working in watercolors, collage and mixed media. Mostly self taught, but learning from other artists, Carol continues to evolve into her won unique style she likes to call "watercolor collage". Carol is an active member of the Ottawa Art League and the Art Institute of Chicago and its extension group the Heritage Corridor Community Associates. Besides local viewings at shows, her work can be seen at Common Ground Book cafe in Utica. Carol does demonstrations locally and also has some work in the Soo Hoo Gallery in Door County Wisconsin.
